Job Description

This is currently a fixed term role to December 31st, 2023 with possible extensions to March 2024 depending on Funding. 

You will work with under the guidance of your Delivery Manager and your regional team colleagues to manage referrals and support for the multiply contract. You will engage with local community groups, jobcentres, and other stake holders to engage learners in the Multiply programme and enrol learners for numeracy sessions to upskill and build confidence in numeracy skills. You will be responsible for outreach work, enrolment of learners and co-ordination of sessions delivered on-site in the various regions.

  • Under the guidance of the region Delivery Manager, develop relationships and networks with key stakeholders including children centres, job centre teams, local authorities, community hubs and schools.
  • Use knowledge of skills contracts to manage referrals and complete all necessary paperwork to enrol them onto the appropriate pathway depending on their goals and aspirations.
  • Maintain paperwork and customer records to a required quality standard to ensure the customer journey is documented in accordance with our quality standards and relevant documentation upload to database from claim purposes
  • Prepare multiply sessions efficiently in order to conduct them competently.
  • Monitor the learners’ progress throughout the course, against the criteria
  • Prepare educational material to assist with stretching and challenging the learning
  • Engaging with quality management processes to ensure that teaching maintains Outstanding OFSTED standards
  • Assist with all other areas of delivery in your region as and when required
  • Travel within your regions to support the geographical remit of the contracts (Kent and West Sussex)

Knowledge/experience – Essential and Desired

Essential

  • Prior experience in engaging with the customer group
  • Familiarity with OFSTED's expectations for high-quality education delivery.
  • Experience in delivering confidence-building sessions to groups of individuals and providing 1-2-1 support where necessary.   
  • Knowledge of the barriers to employment for our demographic of learners, and you can assist them in overcoming barriers to numeracy and building confidence 
  • Experience in completing enrolment paperwork and signposting learners to appropriate pathways

Desirable

  • Delivering outcomes via a Multiply or similar contract.

Essential

  • High level of literacy and numeracy

  • Level 2+ IAG Qualification

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and effectively.
  • Patient, empathetic, and able to adapt communication methods to accommodate individual learners
  • Efficient time management and the ability to plan ahead of time to accommodate new course enrolments
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to engage and motivate learners from diverse backgrounds.
  • Understanding of Multiply contracts and requirements.
