Job Description
Join Our Team as an ESOL Tutor across Leicester & Birmingham!

Are you passionate about empowering learners and making a difference? Look no further! We seek a dedicated face-to-face ESOL Tutor to inspire and guide our students on their language-learning journey.
As an ESOL Tutor, you’ll be at the heart of our mission. Your role? Deliver face-to-face engaging ESOL courses, provide coaching, support, and tutorials, and ensure program compliance. From creating dynamic lessons to tracking progress, you’ll play a vital part in our learners’ success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver the program promptly, keeping learners motivated.
  • Deliver a range of ESOL qualifications at a range of levels, following the schedule.
  • Set and assess learner work, ensuring timely feedback is provided.
  • Complete remedial actions identified by the IQA promptly.
  • Create schemes of work and lesson plans in line with the qualification criteria
  • Complete qualification administration
  • Engage with quality management processes to OFSTED standards
Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Qualifications in Maths, English and ICT
  • TESOL or equivalent qualification
  • Teaching qualification minimum L3 award in Education & Training
  • Assessing qualification (CAVA, TAQA or equivalent)
  • Familiarity with Ofsted’s expectations for high-quality education.
  • Prior experience delivering vocational qualifications
  • Experience delivering employability sessions such as CV writing, interviews etc.
  • Must hold a valid UK driving license with access to a car.

Additional Information
Salary: £28,000.00 per annum depending on experience
Location: Face-to-face delivery across Leicester & Birmingham    
Contract:  Permanent – Full-time
Hours: Monday – Friday 09:00 – 17:30
