Job Description
Join Our Team as a Community Math Tutor in Sussex!

What You’ll Do:
-Deliver both regulated and non-regulated math qualifications to government-funded learners.
-Lead training sessions across Sussex, adapting to various environments.
-Prepare and deliver lessons efficiently, creating engaging schemes of work and lesson plans.
-Set and assess learner work, providing timely and constructive feedback.
-Monitor learner progress and take immediate action when needed.
-Maintain accurate records of attendance, participation, and progress.
-Support learners with coaching, tutoring, and additional learning resources.
-Manage the induction process and conduct classroom observations.
-Ensure all educational materials comply with copyright rules.
-Provide accurate formative and summative assessments.
-Engage with quality management processes to maintain Outstanding OFSTED standards.
-Drive continuous improvement initiatives for AEB contract delivery.

What We’re Looking For:
-Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
-Minimum Level 3 Award in Education and Training or equivalent.
-Minimum Level 3 qualification in English and Math.
-Assessing qualification (CAVA, TAQA, or equivalent).
-Experience in delivering math and English subjects.
-Familiarity with OFSTED’s expectations for high-quality education delivery.
-Organised, resourceful professionals who thrive in fast-paced environments.
-Ideal candidate must have access to a car during working hours

Additional Information:
-Salary: £28,000.00 per annum depending on experience
-Location: Travel across the Sussex region, delivering face-to-face classes.
-Contract:  Permanent.
-Hours: Monday – Friday 09:00 – 17:30
