Job Description
Employment Consultant
£30,000.00 per annum experience-dependent
Southwark Works

You will work directly with the Contract Manager and key stakeholders to deliver the contract outcomes, which are primarily employment focused. You will ensure that appropriate activity is undertaken with each customer to achieve job outcome targets. You’ll have a strong network to assist in sourcing vacancies and customer referrals, supporting customers in sustained outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
 
  • Manage a caseload of customers to ensure appropriate and effective contractual activity is undertaken, implementing action plans, and offering advice and guidance.
  • Directly deliver employment support, including job search guidance, CV writing, soft-skills development and motivational sessions.
  • Account managing client relationships and delivery.
  • Identify, structure and recommend recruitment and training solutions, to meet the specific needs of customers and employers.
  • Develop relationships and networks with key stakeholders including employers, job centre teams, local authorities, and training providers.

Key Role Requirements:
  • Experience in delivering against targets and KPI’s in a challenging environment
  • Understanding in giving Advice, Information and Guidance to Level 2.
