Job Role

We are currently recruiting for a Group Travel Coordinator to coordinate our Turing/Erasmus+ groups and ensure administrative compliance with all requirements of the Turing/Erasmus+ programmes.

This varied role requires a team player with excellent relationship and communication skills.  This is an exciting opportunity, including international travel, for somebody who wants to further their career in group travel operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure administrative compliance with all requirements of the Turing/Erasmus+ programme, including accurate recording of exchange partnership agreements, student exchanges, work placements and staff mobility on the database of the Erasmus+ and Turing Reporting Tool.
  • Take a leading role in student engagement and recruitment for the Turing Scheme, utilising LinkedIn and other tools to identify and recruit students onto the programme
  • Attend University Careers fairs to assist in the recruitment of candidates for the Turing Scheme, and to further promote the programme for future cohorts
  • Prepare and check documents for participants, ensuring compliance with Erasmus+ and Turing regulations for audit purposes. 
  • Keep applicants warm whilst placement details and pre departure information is prepared.
  • Preparation of participants, pre departure information, access to language training and monitoring whilst on placement.
  • All pre departure and on programme logistics, such as booking flights, insurance, arranging payment of stipends and any COVID travel requirements.
  • Ensure all participant host companies and accommodation adhere to safeguarding and health and safety regulations.
  • Administration of contracts, partner service-level-agreements and payments.
  • Maintain effective relations with international partner organisations.
  • Travel with participants to programme destinations.
  • General administration, handling enquiries, e-mail, dealing with enquiries, filing etc. as well as preparation of presentations and reports as required.
  • Manage the logistics Twin’s partner programmes, including the operations of the Erasmus+ and Turing programmes
  • Provide emergency support for participants whilst on programme.
     

Skills and Experience

Essential

  • Group travel experience
  • Educated to degree level

Desirable:

  • Fluency in one or more European languages apart from English
  • Experience of coordinating mentoring programmes
  • Experience of working on European Commission’s ERASMUS+ programme, including ERASMUS + study placements and traineeships

Additional Information

Salary: £25000- £28000 per annum (depending on experience)
Location: Greenwich

Hours: 09:00 -17:30 Full time Monday- Friday. Out of hours work will be required throughout the year
