Job Description

The role of the Employer Engagement Consultant entails engaging external stakeholders, including Job Centre Plus, community groups and employers to understand recruitment needs and skills gaps. Co-designing pathways into employment or upskilling existing staff across various Twin programmes is essential. Building and leveraging strong relationships is key to promoting inclusive employment practices, such as work trials and working interviews, with a primary focus on meeting employer expectations. 


Responsibilities:
-Achieve monthly Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for income generation, prioritising measurable outcomes. 
-Provide comprehensive course information to stakeholders, instilling confidence, and clarity about the support available through our training programs. 
-Actively market new and existing courses to employers, contributing to the creation of a customer pipeline aligned with company goals and community requirements. 
-Take a central role in promoting local job opportunities, and forging valuable connections within the community. 
-Collaborate with local teams to identify opportunities using robust employer data, targeting potential local and regional employers. 
-Generate business leads with potential employers through various approaches, including telephone contact, face-to-face meetings, and presentations. 
-Develop relationships with key stakeholders to optimise business outcomes through access to broader employment networks. 
-Expand the pool of employers partnering with Twin for workforce recruitment by cultivating positive relationships characterised by high-quality, responsive service that exceeds expectations. 
-Collaborate closely with operations teams to ensure employers have access to suitable candidates for their businesses. 
-Cultivate relationships with employers to secure guaranteed interviews for learners completing training programs. 
-Generate and manage a robust prospect pipeline, nurturing employer relationships for significant long-term potential. 
-Cover additional geographical areas when required to contribute to the delivery of outcomes. 

 
Education /Qualification:
-
GCSE or equivalent grade A-C in Maths and English


Skills and Experience
-Business-to-business sales, marketing, networking. 
-Very strong written and verbal communication skills. 
-Working with external senior managers in an account management capacity. 
-Working in a performance target-driven environment  
-Willingness to undertake any relevant training to develop within the role. 
-Industry-specific experience in engagement with JCP and other relevant organisations to deliver job -outcomes/work placements. 
-Knowledge of the barrier to employment for our demographic of learners can assist in overcoming barriers. 
-Full driving licence with access to a vehicle during working hours.

 
Additional Information
-Salary: £28,000 per annum depending on experience
-Location: Sussex-based with the ability to travel across the Sussex & Surrey regions.   
-Contract:  Permanent - Full Time
-Hours: Monday to Friday 09:00 – 17:30
