Employability Compliance Officer – Skills & Employability
Up to £28,000 per annum depending on experience 
Greenwich

As Employability Compliance Officer you will support our Employability provision ensuring that all supporting documentation and claims are compliant. You will support the monthly ILR and other Funding returns ensuring timely and accurate data submissions. Ensuring that internal audits are undertaken regularly, and compliance standards are always maintained and achieved to the highest possible standard.

You are a self-starter with a positive attitude, happy to work in a fast-paced environment, and able to control your time and workload effectively, ensuring the best outcomes against business needs.

Key Responsibilities:
 
  • Conduct routine compliance reviews and assessments across Employability courses to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and organisational policies.
  • Support the development, maintenance, and implementation of compliance policies and procedures, collaborating with internal teams to address compliance needs.
  • Track and monitor compliance metrics and produce regular reports for the Senior Compliance Officer.
  • Identify and assess compliance risks associated with employability initiatives and report any issues or gaps to the Claims & Compliance Manager.
  • Maintain awareness of changes in regulatory requirements affecting Employability courses, proactively flagging potential impacts to policies and processes.
  • Support the development and rollout of compliance policies and procedures specific to Employability courses, ensuring that they are well-communicated across departments.
  • Support the development of training materials and resources, ensuring they are current and address compliance needs.
  • Maintain communication with internal stakeholders to provide updates on compliance
  • requirements, policy changes, and risk management strategies.

Skills & Experience:
 
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a compliance, regulatory, or risk management role, preferably within skills development, training, or employability sectors.
  • Familiarity with regulatory standards and frameworks related to workforce development and skills programs is highly desirable. 
  • Demonstrated experience in the skills development, workforce training, or employability sectors, with strong regulatory knowledge specific to these areas.
  • Comprehensive understanding of compliance, risk management, and regulatory requirements related to skills and employability.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex compliance situations and propose practical solutions.
  • Proficiency in compliance software and tools, with the ability to generate reports and manage data.
