Skills Coaches Health & Social Care Up to £35,000 per annum experience dependent Remote with travel required ad-hoc to meet business needs.
You will drive progress and support a caseload of learners working towards increasing their theoretical knowledge within the Health and Social Care sectors, to demonstrate competency within the role and achieve their apprenticeship qualification.
You will achieve this through robust calendar management and stakeholder engagement, fostering a strong tri-partite relationship between provider, coach and learners.
Key Responsibilities:
Engagement with employers and learners to deliver high-quality teaching and learning.
Meeting KPIs set for starts, progression, achievement, leavers and customer satisfaction in line with quality, compliance and financial targets.
Deliver qualifications across a range of programmes where occupationally competent, in accordance with quality processes and in line with the e-Training continuous Improvement strategy.
Maintain a caseload of learners delivering sector-specific programmes including developing Maths, English & ICT skills alongside personal development, behaviours & attitudes.
Be proficient in the use of electronic portfolio systems to record learner interventions, reviews, upload work and all required off-the-job training, maintain learner information, ensuring quality and integrity of data which is accurately recorded and submitted efficiently to satisfy regulatory requirements.
Ensure individual expertise and subject area knowledge is up to date and current through Continuous Personal Development, including sharing good practice, engaging with training and acquiring/maintaining any individual qualifications required for the role.
Skills & Experience:
D32/33/A1/TAQA/CAVA equivalent. (E)
L3 AET (E)
L2 Functional Skills in Maths and English (E)
Occupational competence in Health & Social care (up to Level 5) & Customer Service L3
PGCE/Teaching Qualification (e.g. PTLLS) (D)
Experience and knowledge of delivering Apprenticeship standards (E)
Experience and knowledge of training and/or assessment delivery (E)
Experience in the delivery of Digital Skills, Math and English (E)
Experience in teaching within Education establishments (E)
Experience and knowledge of Government Funding streams (D)
Willingness to travel when required on an ad-hoc basis / to attend standardisation team meetings during the calendar year. (E)
Geographically able to work with learners in a required area (E)
