Job Title: Enrolment Officer – Apprenticeships 

Reports to: Apprenticeship Operations Manager 

Salary: £25,000

 

Purpose  

 

As the Apprentice Enrolment Officer, you will provide an effective and timely service in the enrolment of learners onto Apprenticeship programmes of learning. You will be responsible for the co-ordination and administration of new learner enrolments, applicant processing, and new learner communication, follow up and resolution of queries. With an eye for detail and a rigorous approach to quality, you will ensure all compliance elements relating to the sign up of an Apprentice are fully completed, as the single and first point of contact for all prospective Apprentices, working alongside the business development team and skills development coaches and to ensure all sign-ups are fully compliant, supporting business growth.  

 

Main Duties and Responsibilities  

1. To lead on learner enrolments including booking induction appointments, the administration of the initial sign-up process, of on-line enrolments and undertaking follow up actions as appropriate.  

2. Lead on the checking and verification of learner eligibility in line with funding rules and legislation. 

3. Conduct prior attainment checks to ensure managers are aware of potential funding reductions and review initial assessment results for learners in line with programme and funding requirements.  

4. Work closely with the business development team and administration team, to ensure that learner enrolments are completed quickly and efficiently whilst maintaining the levels of quality and compliance required by eTraining, the Twin Group and its funders. 

 5. With the administration team, ensure the timely registration of learners on the relevant learning/assessment platforms once all required documentation and funding has been secured. 

 6. Use the required systems effectively to ensure that all evidence is collated, stored and is available for claims preparation activity, ensuring it is up to date and auditable.  

7. Support the administration team in the effective collation and cleansing of electronic data on systems, ensuring clean data is always retained in line with funding requirements and the document retention policy.  

8. Provide exceptional customer service and excellence at all times, enhancing the learner and employer experience ensuring it is at the forefront of all admissions processes and procedures.  

9. To adhere to eTraining and Twin policies, processes, and quality standards always.  

Other  

1. To undertake any further training as identified in Twin appraisal and review procedures. 

2. Ensure that safe working practices are followed in respect of COSHH and other Risk Assessment control measures.  

3. 9. To report to line manager, or other appropriate person, any awareness of bad practice. 

10. Recycle and manage energy within your environment in line with the Group’s aim to adopt green approaches and become carbon neutral.
