The Learner Engagement Officer will support the business in meeting its learner engagement targets and outcomes. You will report to the Learner Engagement Manager and you will be responsible for learner starts on the pre-employment programmes working with local JCP’s and other relevant organisations. You will work with both internal and external stakeholders to maximise opportunities for the business.

Responsibilities

  • Realising the businesses learner engagement strategy by selling eTraining services to JCP’s and other relevant organisations for all areas of employer-led provision in the business.
  •  Build relationships with learners to help them on their journey back into employment.
  • Create relationships with employers and recruiters to secure guaranteed interviews for those learners who go through training programmes, for their current recruitment campaign.
  • Engaging with colleagues across the business to utilise local employer networks, to
  • support the delivery of employment, work experience and Apprenticeship targets.
  • Producing regular reports for the Learner Engagement Team providing a summary of learner engagement including the number of new learners established and reporting against agreed KPIs.
  • Generating and managing a strong prospect pipeline: identifying, developing, and securing learner relationships to generate substantial long-term potential.
  • Meet monthly KPIs for both learner engagement and income generation – this includes KPIs relating to job outcomes.
  • Be in regular contact with your allocated accounts, ensuring contact & visibility on a regular basis and to encourage wider sales opportunities and provide information & advice to learners on the funded offers provided by eTraining.
  • Cover additional geographical areas of the contract when needed, to assist with the delivery of outcomes

Education /Qualification 

  •  Good Literacy and Numeracy Skills
  • Excellent IT Skills
  • Strong written and oral skills, with high business acumen and a professional approach.

Skills and Experience

Essential 

  • Experience in identifying and bringing in new relationships/business with an evidenced track record of converting learner interest into business growth.
  •  Industry-specific experience in engaging with JCP’s and other relevant organisations to deliver job outcomes, work placements etc.
  •  A sales-focused mindset, with an ethical approach to learner development.
  • Knowledge and application of Safeguarding Requirements

Desirable, but not essential:

  • Previous experience working within the welfare-to-work industry, ideally from
  • within a training provider.
  • Knowledge of the barriers to employment for our demographic of learners, and you can assist employers to overcome the prejudice of this.

Additional Information

Salary: £28,000 - 30,000 (Depending on Experience)

Location: Remote but Covering Contracts in London and the South East. Must be based in either: Kent, Sussex, Surrey,

Contract : Permanent - Full time 

Hours: Monday to Friday 09:00 till 5:30
