Job Description
EFL Teacher – Eastbourne
Up to £19.50 per hour dependent on experience & qualifications held
Ad-Hoc Contract

You will teach English as a foreign language using the communicative method. You will enable students to practise and improve the four basic language skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing: with a focus on real-life communication.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare lessons efficiently, assisting in first-day testing, placement, and induction as required.
- Set and mark daily homework that is appropriate to the needs of the class.
- Conduct fortnightly student tutorials, and record agreed goals.
- Administer and mark monthly progress tests.
- Monitor students’ progress.


Skills & Experience:
-Experience of teaching in an EFL school or summer centre (Essential)
-First Degree or higher + CELTA or equivalent (Essential)
- Experience of working or living overseas (Desirable)
- DELTA or equivalent (Desirable)
