We are proud that our summer centres run from 4 to 6 weeks per annum, our students, who are under the age of 18*, come from all over the world, typically staying for 13 nights where they complete a 30-hour English Language Course along with activities on-site, half-day and full day excursions, and evening activities.
We have a range of centres across the UK and ROI, including,Wellington College, Gloucester, Canterbury, Edinburgh, London and Dublin with new locations each year.
This role aims to ensure quality recruitment practices within Twin Summer Centre recruitment. The Academic Recruiter is responsible for implementing the summer centre academic strategic recruitment plan and recruiting well qualified, high quality academic staff for all Twin summer centres.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable meeting new people frequently and have an ability to determine a candidate's potential through interview. They should have excellent organizational skills in order to build and maintain a pipeline of prospective candidates. They should be comfortable with picking up the phone and calling any potential candidates, gauging both their interest over the phone and whether they are the right person for the job.
Responsible for the delivery of the summer centre academic strategic recruitment campaign, including achieving all recruitment KPIs and milestones
Source and maintain a robust pipeline of eligible candidates for vacant positions, including researching alternative attraction methodologies
Screen candidates resumes and job applications
Conduct interviews via Teams or in-person, using various reliable recruiting and selection tools/methods to filter candidates within schedule
Assess applicants’ relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience and aptitudes
Qualify or reject candidates based on interview feedback and resume reviews
Ensure all screening, hiring, and selection is done in accordance with employment laws and regulations
Liaise with Summer Centre operational team to ensure all roles per summer centre are being filled
Monitor and apply HR recruiting best practices
Provide analytical and well documented recruiting reports
Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process
Promote Twin’s reputation as “best place to work”
Represent Twin at recruitment events and fairs
Represent Twin to academic institutions running CELTA or TeSOL courses
Qualifications Bachelor's degree (essential) TEFL or CELTA qualified
Skills and experience Essential
Effective communication skills, both orally and in writing
Strong organizational, time management and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage a wide range of relationships with a variety of stakeholders
Experience working with Microsoft Office suite
High-energy and passion

Working knowledge of interview techniques and applicant screening methods
Experience of working in a summer centre or year-round language school

Experience of recruiting academic staff (Director of Studies, Assistant Director of Studies, Senior Teachers, Teachers for year-round or summer schools
Additional Information Salary: up to £30,000.00 per annum depending on experience Location: Remote Contract: Fixed Term full time (The contract is expected to be into the Summer Period TBC) Hours: Monday to Friday 09:00 – 17:30, please note that some out-of-hours will be required dependent on candidate availability.
