Job Description

We offer a diverse number of life enhancing services to our clients and every member of our team is essential in achieving this. As an organisation we are recruiting for a Credit Controller who will be based at the Greenwich head office and will be responsible for the overall management of receivables, validation of invoices and reconciliation of receivables and reporting. Working closely with the group finance, admissions & sales teams, this is a great opportunity for a competent individual who would like to excel their career in finance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Setting up the terms and conditions of the receivable balances on the accounting system
  • Ensure the credit control system is set up accurately to record the sales invoices, receipts and reporting of debtors
  • Ensure that debts are paid in a timely manner and in accordance with Twin’s terms and conditions
  • Monitor and report on the cash & debtor days
  • Dealing with internal queries about payments, ensuring customers pay on time and negotiating re-payment plans
  • Send out monthly client statements/letters as agreed from time to time
  • Regularly making contact with customers to ensure all relevant debts are managed as necessary and where required chase them promptly
  • Recommend escalation process if invoices remain unpaid
  • Ensure that all transactions are compliant with Company's policies
  • Provide accurate advice on billing queries to customers

Skills & Knowledge

Essential

  • Fluent in English (written and verbal)
  • Experience of Sage accounting system
  • Good IT (Microsoft office) and Excel skills
  • Relevant education/qualifications in accounting/finance
  • Analytical, numerate with good understanding of core financial concepts
  • Strong communicator with all audience types and sizes
  • Flexible and comfortable with a fast-paced environment
  • Customer focused
  • Excellent Attention to detail
  • Well organised and a team player

 

Additional Information 

Salary: £24,000- £26,000 per annum (depending on experience) 
Location: Greenwich HQ, London

Hours: 42.5 hrs Full time Monday- Friday 
Closing Date: 15/02/2022
