OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE
To deliver the travel requirements for specified overseas agents and direct groups. To administer and operate these arrangements to include transport, accommodation, language studies, excursions and all ground handling services. To manage the costs and margins for each group and “upsell” where possible to meet set AVB targets, revenue and profitability. To assist with new agent, market and product development.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deliver the required tour arrangements for each client to a set deadline.
- Deliver sales quotations using agreed rates to meet customer travel requirements and company target margin and revenue.
- Assist the sales team in the development of new agents/clients to develop growth for the company.
- Book school integration programmes with local schools, you will be their first point of contact. You will also be responsible for operating these bookings.
- Assist operations where required with ground handling and operations and support the summer school operations with entrance and ground handling services annually
- Upsell with each group where possible to encourage package tours.
- Assist with product development to ensure all products meet client/agent requirements.
- Attend training to develop relevant knowledge and skills.
- Adhere to TTI health and safety policy and other requirements relating to care of equipment and property.
- Flexibility to standard working hours may be necessary in peak operating periods.
- Out of office emergency cover is required on a rotational basis.
Experience and skills
- Previous experience in sales preferably tourism (desirable)
- Experience in an administrative role (essential)
- Fluent in verbal and written English and French (essential)
- Experience in a telephone based customer service role (desirable)
Additional Information:
Salary: £27000 per annum (plus bonus)
Location: Greenwich
Hours: 09:00 -17:30 Full-time Monday- Friday.
