Job Description

This role is to recruit clients to Twin ESOL Practitioner programmes, both through the generation of referrals from interested third parties and through motivating individual potential clients to apply for or enrol on a programme. A conscious by-product of this role will be the building or enhancing, then maintaining, of relationships with relevant referral sources based on the medium term target client profiles and programme geographies. The primary relationship focus will be on Public Sector, 3RD Sector and Commercial providers, plus intensive team-working with Contract Managers trainers and Employment Consultants.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible to own and achieve a high volume weekly target for referring learners onto non-mandatory programmes, willing to undertake business development and recruitment of referral sources as well as learners
  • Recruitment of clients onto programmes to meet agreed programme targets, in accordance with eligibility requirements
  • Take ownership for all referral source engagement activities associated with client recruitment, including identifying and mitigating risks
  • Work with the delivery teams to fully understand each programme, its target clients (eligibility), aims, targets, deliverables, geography and payment systems
  • Develop relationships with a broad [portfolio of referral sources, from DWP, Local Government, Education Sector, 3rd sector and other commercial providers, being very aware of both immediate transactions and potential partnerships
  • Implement ongoing contact schedules, planned in advance where possible for maximum scheduling efficiency, to ensure adequate coverage of relevant referral sources
  • Negotiate agreements and joint activities with stakeholders, partners and community based links to ensure constant flow of high quality candidates into Twin’s programmes

Education/Qualification desired

  • Degree-level education desirable, not essential

 

Skills and Experience

Essential

 

  • Significant, proven experience of developing productive relationships with third parties at a business level
  • Demonstrable ability to interact with senior levels within a variety of organizations required
  • Demonstrable ability to motivate and enthuse individual unemployed clients who may lack motivation and/or confidence to secure employment unaided.
  • Previous experience of dealing with government departments and/or complex contracting arrangements an advantage
  • Knowledge of welfare-to-work within a UK context an advantage
  • IT literate and willing to adopt new systems

 

Additional Information

Salary: £24,000 to £25,500 per annum (depending on experience)
Location:  Greenwich, London

Hours: (Full time) Monday- Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm
