We are currently recruiting for an experienced Cyber Security tutor on a fixed-term contract basis to deliver regulated and non regulated qualifications/training to our ESFA and DWP government funded learners or other provisions where necessary. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Record and monitor learners’ attendance and punctuality, addressing all absences in a timely manner. 

  • Completion of assessments records per unit by the submission deadlines provided. 

  • Be responsible for chasing learners for outstanding work product, if passed the submission deadline. 

  • Creation of lesson plans and schemes of work and further resources to keep it current. 

  • Attend and contribute to staff meetings and development meetings. 

  • Be responsible for any IT equipment provided to delivering

Skills and Experience 

Essential 

  • Experience in delivering  to post 16

  • Experience of delivering Cyber security to level 3

  • Experience of embedding British Values, PREVENT and safeguarding to lessons

  • Assessing qualification, TAQA, A1, or equivalent

  • Level 4 Cyber security

Desirable 

  • Knowledge of Awarding Organisations; Edexcel, NCFE, C&G qualifications
  • Experience of the welfare to work sector

  • Experience of working within a business context 

  • Qualification : PTTLS, DTTLS or equivalent

Additional Information

Salary: £30,000 to £35,000 per annum (depending on experience), fixed term contract
Location:  South East England (Remote-based + Occasional Office Visit)

Hours: (Full time) Monday- Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm
