We are currently recruiting for an Employment Consultant on fixed-term contract basis to support the business in meeting its employer engagement targets and outcomes for the WMCA Digital Bootcamps contract in Leicester.  You will report to the Head of Employer Engagement and you will be responsible for new business generation and managing key employer accounts, working with both internal and external stakeholders to maximise opportunities for the business. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Realising the businesses employer engagement strategy by selling Twin services to new employers for all areas of employer led provision in the business.   

  • Engaging with colleagues across the business to utilise local employer networks, to support the delivery of employment, work experience and Apprenticeship targets.  

  • Producing regular reports for the Head of Employer Engagement providing a summary of employer engagement including the number of new employers, partnerships established and reporting against agreed KPIs.  

  • Generating and managing a strong prospect pipeline: identifying, developing, and securing employer partnerships with substantial long-term potential. Rapidly developing effective relationships with key employers, developing new business leads and identifying opportunities for effective promotion of all Twin Programmes.  

  • Meet monthly KPIs for both business engagement and income generation.    

  • Be in regular contact with your allocated accounts, ensuring contact & visibility on a regular basis and to encourage wider sales opportunities and provide information & advice to employers on the funded offers provided by Twin.   

  • Utilising marketing materials and business resources provided to ensure compelling communications when engaging new employers and build close working relationships with various stakeholders, internally & externally  

Skills and Experience 

Essential 

  • A minimum of 5 GCSEs or equivalent 

  • Strong organisational skills: with demonstrable capability in multiple task management and evidence of success in delivering clear outcomes to agreed timescales, deadlines, and budgets.  

  • Ability to work effectively within teams and on own initiative.

  • Experience in identifying and bringing in new relationships/business with an evidenced track record of converting employer engagement into business growth.    

  • Industry specific experience in engaging with business, to deliver job outcomes, work placements and Apprenticeship Standards.   

  • A sales focused mindset, with an ethical approach to new business development.    

  • Previous experience working within the apprenticeship & training industry, ideally from within a training provider.  Sound knowledge of apprenticeships, standards, and Levy  Knowledge and application of Safeguarding Requirements  

Additional Information

Salary: £25,000 to £28,000 per annum (depending on experience), fixed term contract
Location:  East Midlands (Remote-based + Occasional Office Visit to Leicester)

Hours: (Full time) Monday- Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm
