NCS (National Citizen Service) is a government-backed initiative with a mission to equip 15-17 year olds with the confidence, skills and support they need to make a real difference in their communities. The aim is to encourage young people from different backgrounds to mix through a local, community-based programme.
Twin offers a fixed-term contract and aims to provide longer employment consisting of a few waves. This is however, subject to the performance on the programme and young people numbers. For more details about our programme please click here.

Salary rate : Residential £85/day; Non-Residential £71.25/day
About the role
Providing support to young people taking part in the 2 week part-residential NCS (National Citizen Service) programme, working with other NCS colleagues ensure that all needs of the young people are met. You will work away from home on residential programmes in the first week (5 days), and the second week (5 days) will be based in a local community hub delivering a social action project.
Assisting the team leader in a successfully delivery, both in and out of sessions. Establishing a rapport with young people in your team by being open, empathetic and approachable. Helping young people to maintain high levels of enthusiasm and engagement throughout their NCS journey.
