Role Overview: As a Cyber Security Tutor, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of security professionals. Your mission? Delivering regulated qualifications and training to government-funded learners. Our unique delivery schedule adapts to learners’ geographical locations, ensuring face-to-face sessions for those in the vibrant London area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage Learners: Prepare and conduct efficient, engaging lessons that empower learners.
  • Qualification Delivery: Deliver a diverse range of Cyber Security qualifications and programs, aligned with our schedule.
  • Assessment Excellence: Assess learner work daily, providing timely feedback and addressing any gaps.
  • Progress Monitoring: Keep a watchful eye on learners’ progress, ensuring they meet criteria.
  • Creative Lesson Planning: Craft schemes of work and lesson plans that align with qualification specifications.
  • Stretch and Challenge: Prepare educational materials that ignite curiosity and deepen understanding.
  • Copyright Compliance: Always source materials before photocopying, respecting copyright rules.
  • Assessment and Feedback: Provide accurate, formative, and summative assessments, maintaining records.
  • Qualification Administration: Handle administrative tasks to meet awarding body standards.
  • Quality Assurance: Engage in continuous improvement to maintain Outstanding OFSTED standards.
Education Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Minimum Level 2 qualifications in maths, English, and ICT
  • At least a Level 4 qualification in Cyber Security
  • Assessing qualification (CAVA, TAQA, or equivalent)

Additional Information
Salary: £28,000.00 - £32,000.00 per annum depending on experience
Location: London  
Contract:  Full time
Hours: Monday – Friday 09:00 – 17:30
