JOB TITLE:                              AEB Delivery Manager  

SALARY:                                 £30,000pa

LOCATION:                            (One of the following designated areas: Kent, Sussex, South West (Bournemouth) or West Berks/Surrey)

REPORTS TO:                         Head of Operations

As an AEB Delivery Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day delivery of the AEB contract in your designated region. Reporting to our Contracts Manager, you will manage this through the successful delivery of performance and building relationships with our key stakeholders to ensure a steady flow of referrals into our AEB-funded programmes. You will play a hands-on role, working directly with our learners but also as a people manager, leading your team to become the best that they can be, whilst ensuring KPI’s are met, and revenue and performance targets are achieved across your areas of responsibility.

Responsibilities

 

 
  

 

 

  • Oversee the delivery of the contract in your designated area of responsibility, to meet KPIs and targets according to the contract profile.
  • Assist in the creation of a course timetable for your region, ensuring that the AEB profile can be met.
  • Establish rapport and build a challenging and supportive relationship with stakeholders to build a pipeline of referrals for AEB – this includes Local Authorities, Jobcentres, Provider networks, etc.  
  • Manage a team of staff to include Employment Consultants and tutors to assist in managing a caseload of customers to ensure appropriate and effective contractual activity is undertaken by all customers according to their level of job readiness.
  • Lead the team to ensure smooth and effective delivery of the contracts service to ensure that it is delivered to agreed time, budget, and quality parameters across all areas of the yearly funding cycle including
  • Ensure that the quality of delivery through all courses is delivered to the highest standard, in line with OFSTED recommendations.
  • Work closely with the Employer Engagement team to identify opportunities for SWAPS and Employment progression for learners on the AEB contract.  
  • Adhere to all compliance requirements set by the quality team and ensure that paperwork for learners is completed in line with all compliance requirements.  
  • Utilising marketing materials and business resources provided to ensure compelling communications when engaging new employers and build close working relationships with various stakeholders, internally & externally
  • Able to utilise the internal reporting tools to report on delivery activity, ensuring it is up to date at all times.
  • Maintain paperwork and customer records to a required quality standard to ensure the customer journey is documented in accordance with our quality standards and relevant documentation upload to database from claim purposes
  • Any other duties required as needs of the business arise
  • Attend Eastbourne or our London HQ offices to attend team meetings and training on a regular basis.

Knowledge/experience – Essential and Desired

 
  

Essential

  • Strong contract delivery experience
  • Experienced and confident in delivering against targets and KPI’s
  • Understanding of the local labour market in your designated region
  • Experience in working in government-funded employability/skills contracts

Desirable

  • Line management experience
  • Experience in delivering AEB-funded contracts
