We are currently recruiting a full-time. Business Development Manager who will be responsible for delivering sales into Twin Groups Centres and services.  Developing and enhancing top performing ETO relationships and high value government contracts; maximising product and sales development opportunities

Key Responsibilities 

  • Develop new relationships with High volume ETOs and governmental organisations to drive growth throughout our target regions
  • Work closely with the Head of Sales to achieve, and exceed annual volume targets and work within a predetermined cost budget.
  • Experience in working with High level clients and senior representatives (CEO/OWNERS/Governmental Representatives 
  • Proactively manage a portfolio of agents through active account planning and identification of top tier agents. Work closely with the Head of Sales to prioritise accounts to maximise sales potential.
  • Identify market prospects and analyse trends to develop or enhance relationships with key market organisations leading to sales and/or a raised profile for our products
  • In coordination with the Head of Sales , prepare strategic business plans .  Identify potential growth areas and markets. Develop strategies and network to be able to maximise these revenues
  • Proactively search for tenders and high value contracts and aid in their conversion.
  • Manage ETO enquiries in a timely and professional manner to ensure the highest level customer service.
  • Attend and participate in local sales meetings, conferences, and overseas sales conferences including industry networking events (including weekends) where required.
  • Inform the market of Twin’s pricing structure, specials and promotions, demographic and accommodation options currently on offer across all programmes for groups and individuals.
  • Provide training to agents on the Twin’s suite of products and services.
  • Active resolution of customer complaints and problem solving.
  • Work closely with admissions and operations to maximise each student and ETO  experience to positive effect. Provide leads and referrals as and when available to other divisions..
  • Play an active role within the wider Sales team, upholding Twin’s values and behaviours.
  •    Work closely with Head of Sales for planning market activity and performance 

Knowledge/Experience required

  • English Language Study Abroad nature and processes
  • Previous experience working with the certain  markets including Europe, South Asia, South East Asia, South America, Africa ,MENA                       
  • Experience in international programmes and group travel , preferably within an agent channel environment
  • Experience in the procurement/tender and organisation of governmental and high value contracts in an international context.
  • Experience building and maintaining a key account management; leading and developing the sales process; nurturing customer relationships;  proactive in recognising customers’ business requirements
  • Knowledge and understanding of the international student marketplace

  • Minimum of GCSEs grade 4 in English and Maths or equivalent
  • Second language (desirable)

 

Additional Information

Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 per annum (depending on experience) Bonus structure- paid at 20% of base salary 
Location:  Greenwich, London 

Hours: (Full time) Monday- Friday 09:00am to 5:30pm
