Job Description

We are currently looking for Self-employed Mandarin-speaking Activity Leaders to work on temporary, zero-hour contracts. An Activity Leader is an ambassador of Twin and ensures the highest possible customer service to our international clients, leading the groups during their social and activity programmes. They ensure that our clients are welcomed warmly at the start of their excursion and that they are provided with the necessary information during their tour, as well as safeguarding the group’s wellbeing and keeping excursions on time.

This job is particularly suited to university students who are looking for work over the summer period.

Responsibilities

  • Provide a warm and informative welcome to Twin groups.
  • Engage with group leaders to provide a high level of service.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Attend relevant activity and excursion briefings /training.
  • Ensure adequate preparation for all activities.
  • Lead groups in a professional manner
  • Maintain proper levels of student discipline, well-being, safety and welfare, reporting incidents or accidents to the Operations manager

Skills and Experience

You will have:

· An interest in tourism

· Previous experience leading groups of students [desirable]

· Previous experience working with international students [desirable]

· Fluency in English and Mandarin
